What is involved ?

Prices start from £2125 + vat. This price is for the labour only to carry out a chassis swap on a Land Rover Defender 90 300tdi (other models may vary) This price does not include the chassis, which can be purchased from ourselves from £2150 + VAT. There is likely to be a 4 - 6 week lead time for the chassis, as they are built to order.

Can I customise my chassis replacement ?

Yes! Chassis replacement is the perfect time to replace parts such as worn suspension, steering, clutches, gearboxes, axle components, fuel tanks and fuel lines. You may also wish to replace the bulkhead, fit additional recovery points, winches or even a roll cage at the same time. All can be done in house.

How long will it take ?

If your Defender is relatively standard and all goes to plan we should have your chassis swapped over within a week.

Do Arkley 4x4 offer a delivery / recovery service?

Yes we do. Collection and delivery is usually charged at £1.20 per mile plus VAT. But please get in touch for a formal quotation.

Are there any hidden costs ?

There are no hidden costs, Arkley 4x4 will always contact you after we have carried out an initial inspection to confirm that the chassis swap can be done as agreed. Any additional labour, parts or fabrication work will always be discussed with our clients first. The most common additional items that require replacing whilst swapping a chassis are front bumpers, fuel lines, fuel tanks, brake pipes, suspension, electrical components and wiring looms.

Can Arkley 4x4 supply all the parts I need ?

Yes! As well as having a large stock of parts on site, we also have access to a huge supply of additional parts from our suppliers. Most of which can be ordered overnight.

Can I pay using my credit card ?

Yes you can. We accept credit and debit cards, BACS payments and cash. We do not accept Paypal for chassis jobs or cheques.
